Caitlin Masters, LMSW, Psychotherapist

Caitlin works with clients facing a range of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, challenges with mood, and difficulty with life transitions. She also has a particular interest in helping clients address nervous system and chronic pain disorders (sometimes referred to as Tension Myositis Syndrome/TMS or Psychophysiologic Disorders/PPD).

Caitlin’s approach is warm and collaborative. She works alongside each client to identify their goals and chart a path forward. Drawing on psychodynamic, CBT, narrative, and play therapy, Caitlin supports her clients to better understand unwanted symptoms, hone their strengths, and develop skills that increase well-being.

Caitlin earned her MSW from the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work. Prior to joining Healthy Foundations and the Heartwood Program, she worked with clients facing complex trauma and grief, and with families in the adoption and foster care systems. In her free time, she can often be found reading, drawing, or enjoying some outdoor time with her dog and favorite humans.
