Ashley Wilson, LMSW

Ashley’s approach with her clients is grounded in the belief that each individual has the unique capability to harness their own strengths and experiences to achieve personal healing and wellness. This person-centered approach allows Ashley’s clients to feel empowered as she supports them on their journey through complex challenges at any life stage. Ashley works alongside her clients by integrating a diverse range of clinical approaches to address current challenges, explore past experiences and plan for future growth. Ashley implements trauma-informed therapeutic techniques in her practice and is also interested in the importance of understanding the mind-body connection, which she pursues through the implementation of mindfulness and somatic interventions.

Ashley received her Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from The Catholic University of America and received her clinical training in adolescent mobile crisis and inpatient psychiatric settings. Prior to joining Healthy Foundations Group, Ashley was a social worker in a psychiatric hospital where she worked with children, adolescents and adults, which allowed her to experience treating a wide range of acute symptomologies and diagnoses. In her free time, Ashley enjoys gardening, yoga, music and hiking with her dog.
