Nidhi received her Master’s degree in Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University. She likes to use an integrative approach to counseling to promote healing on all levels: emotional, physical and spiritual with the aim to create a healthy balance between mind, body and spirit. She incorporates the fundamentals of traditional psychotherapy techniques like solution focused brief therapy and narrative counseling as well as holistic methods. She has a deep interest in multicultural counseling, women’s issues, child and adolescent counseling and greatly enjoys working with individuals from different cultural backgrounds. Her past experience includes working with children as a teacher, school counselor, mental health coordinator at a group home working with people who have chronic mental illness and a bilingual advocate for victims of domestic violence.
She has acquired training in Ericksonian Hypotherapy, Neuro Linguistic programming and Reiki and believes that learning is a life long process.
Besides English she can speak Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati and Punjabi.
