Cheryl Turner is a Psychology Associate with over 20 years’ experience conducting neuropsychological, psychological, and educational evaluations. Ms. Turner received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Amherst College and her Masters degree in Psychology from American University.
Since 1995, Ms. Turner has provided assessment and evaluation services in the Washington DC Metro area, across a variety of settings, including Children’s National Medical Center, National Institute of Mental Health, and private practices. Ms. Turner specializes in assessing youth and young adults with difficulties related to attention, executive functioning, and/or learning. Her aim is to provide each client and family with an understanding of the client’s diagnostic profile, including how their strengths and areas of relative weakness impact their functioning.
Evaluation services are available for children, adolescents, and adults age 10 and above, to include interview, individualized testing, analysis, comprehensive written report (including practical recommendations), and in-person feedback to explain results and diagnostic impressions.
