Jamie Groban received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Her style is interactive as she works with clients to build the therapeutic relationship. Creating a respectful space enables clients to feel safe while exploring their feelings and experiences as well as challenging them to grow. Jamie’s approach involves strengthening her client’s coping mechanisms both with education and skill-building.
Her clinical work has focused on clients facing mental and/or physical health challenges including inpatient geropsychiatric treatment and medical/physical rehabilitation patients. These individuals frequently face issues of anxiety, depression, grief, and loss. Jamie enjoys working with adults of all ages but especially aging adults and their family members. Additionally, she has a special interest in working with individuals, parents, or families who are or have twins, triplets or higher order multiples.
Taking the steps to begin therapy and choose a therapist can be challenging. But if you are ready to embark on a journey of change, Jamie is here to support you in the process.
