Shally Vaid received her master’s degree in professional counseling from Argosy University in 2006. She has over 15 years of experience in helping individuals, couples, and families achieve emotional well-being and personal growth. She is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Certified Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. She also has advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.
Shally believes in the power of a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship as the foundation for positive change. Her approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of each client’s unique needs. She provides a non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
While Shally’s clinical experience includes working with various populations, she specializes in the treatment of women’s health, maternal mental health, child and adolescent therapy, and college students/young adults.
Having traveled and lived in different countries, Shally has a passion for diversity and honors the traditions and religions from around the world. She is trained in various modalities and strongly believes in holistic counseling with an emphasis on mind-body connection. To Western psychotherapy techniques, she incorporates Eastern philosophies of meditation and yoga to help her clients begin to heal and learn to live healthier, happier, and balanced lives.
