Celine Harper

Celine is an advanced year therapist currently in the final stages of completing her Master’s in Social Work. Originally from Southern California, Celine earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Santa Cruz in Environmental Studies.

During the pandemic, Celine began working in the healthcare field. She worked in a residential hospice facility, and later transitioned to becoming a Patient Coordinator for a home based community program. These positions allowed Celine to work closely with patients, their families, and the clinical staff. The role of the social workers resonated with her, and inspired her to follow a career as a clinical social worker.

After relocating to Hawaii, Celine worked closely with underserved patient populations and developed a passion for working in the field of mental health. Shortly after, she decided to pursue a Master’s in Social Work with a clinical concentration at the University of Kentucky.

Celine’s interest in the mental health field led her to The Heartwood Program where she is excited to be offering her administrative services to the Patient Experience Team as the Program Coordinator. Within the Heartwood Program, Celine gained clinical experience in the Gender Wellness Clinic and the Intensive Outpatient Program.

Celine’s therapeutic approach is rooted in a client-centered philosophy, where she places great importance on empowering individuals to define and pursue their unique goals. By fostering an environment of collaboration and trust, she guides her clients towards self-fulfillment and personal growth.
