Advanced Year Therapist
Cara Falco grew up in Montgomery County and feels motivated to become an active member of her community by joining the helping profession. She is an Advanced-Year, Masters of Social Work (MSW) student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and is excited to have recently joined the Healthy Foundations Group Team as an Advanced Year Therapist.
As a SUDIF (Substance Use Disorder Interventions Fellowship) Fellow at the University, Cara is engaging in training to better serve and aid clients that are experiencing difficulty with substance misuse. Cara seeks to become a substance use disorder specialist upon graduation and licensure, so she is currently open to working with clients with a variety of concerns such as substance misuse, depression, anxiety, and challenges with mood. She believes in the importance of understanding the client in their environment and takes a holistic approach towards helping someone on their wellness journey. Cara is motivated to put this perspective and her training into motion with Healthy Foundations Group.
