Dr. Tracy Meyer, M.D. studied Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and completed her medical degree at University of Maryland School of Medicine. After medical school, she completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency at George Washington University and her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center.
Dr. Meyer spent several years after training providing intensive psychiatric services to children in an inpatient setting before transitioning to serving at a core service agency in DC. In addition to her work at Health Foundations Group, she continues to serve on an ACT team and work at an outpatient mental health clinic serving children and families in Southeast DC. Her passion is focused on expanding equal access to care, trauma-informed practices, and helping to better the lives of individuals, families, and children in the Washington, D.C. area. Dr. Meyer also serves on the Board of Directors for Best Kids, a mentoring program for foster children in Washington, D.C.
