Samara received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The George Washington University. She uses a strength-based approach in her work with clients, believing in the healing power of self-awareness and compassion on the journey towards wellness and balance in life. Samara’s perspective on the individual capacity to heal and grow is largely shaped by her Master’s degree in Physiology: Complementary and Alternative Medicine, completed at Georgetown University, which sparked her commitment to providing holistic, individualized care. Samara incorporates her training in mind-body medicine with fundamental psychotherapy techniques to inspire hope for the future and understanding of the past. She has experience working in a community clinic and in career counseling.
Samara is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Counseling at The George Washington University, enhancing her skills as a practitioner and exploring her research interests in identity development through emerging adulthood.
